Westside Steak & BBQ

After tasting the nice Expresso I noticed this little restaurant serving pulled pork and brisket. The reviews were dithyrambic .. Which In this country is not the same as in Europe, and certainly France ... Different culture. Anyway, I came and tried the brisket (by the weight) with a house salade (no dressing, just accompanied with olive oil, the way I like dressing here ...). Anyway, I sat in the sun (on the terrace) and enjoyed my brisket, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service from Elaine is very friendly and she guided me though the menu and adapted a side dish (house salad) to my liking. Perfect. So no pretentious spot but clearly the best brisket I tried. I was so lucky to enjoy it on the terrace during a very sunny day. I'll be back.

Excellent BBQ and great service! We ordered the 1/2lb pulled pork and 1/2lb brisket, which came with 2 sides and a corn muffin, and an order of 6 wings. All of the meat was tender, flavorful, and freshly cooked. The wings are massive! We ordered them with sweet chili (my favorite) and BBQ sauce. We got onion rings, sweet potato fries, and cole slaw as sides, everything tasted fresh and homemade. Even the corn muffin was fresh out of the oven and still warm when it got to our table. There were no leftovers - the portions are decent, but everything was just so good that our plates were cleared! We ordered a few corn muffins to go, which were great with coffee the next morning. As we ate, our server (possibly the owner?) checked in routinely, and had conversation with us about the restaurant and the area. Although we were the only customers dining in at the time, we overheard a number of call in and take out orders being placed - some for a few pounds of meat, some calling for just sides – goes to show that everything here is good. It seems like this spot is a favorite among locals, and possibly my new go-to BBQ joint in Worcester.

Worcester dining is a tricky thing to figure out on a Monday evening. Luckily we found this neighborhood gem which has been around for at least 17 years. Our waiter was a young gentleman who frequented this restaurant as a child and now spends his working days explaining a menu full of tasty BBQ. I opted for the brisket dinner which came with cornbread and two sides, Mac & cheese and baked beans for me please! The meal hit the spot and their BBQ sauce was on point! The waiter and the owner were very nice people; it was apparent that the owner really enjoys what she does. Cheers to the hot sauce collection! We’ll be back!

Very friendly staff with decent food. Good nachos. The majority of the table ordered brisket. I would have to say the brisket was a bit on the dryer side. Something to definitely improve upon. Also only bottles water and going from Poland water to some 2nd off store brand wasn't the best move mod way through the shift didn't really sit right with me. Other than those 2 things good stuff.

This place is a hole in the wall. There are only about 6 tables. The BBQ is really tasty. Ribs fall off the bone. Prices are $20+ 2 meats and a side. Mac and cheese is very cheesy. My daughter enjoyed it. BYOB there is a liquor store next door. She said you could get something and bring it in. They have sodas in bottles in the fridge. Portion sizes are not as big as other places I have been to but you don't leave hungry.
